choosing the color of your plate may have to do what era your from .... But I still Like the old school blue, the black should be for classic cars and rods in my opinion.

perhaps, but 1969 was the first year they were issued, might have been on model year 1970 cars which would have come out in Sept '69, but 1969 was the first year for blue/yellow.

yeah that makes sense if you had a 1969 early build it was probably sold/licensed/registered in late 1968 or early 1969..

The blue/yellow came out in 1969 but there is no indication as to when, I suspect it was late 1969 for the 1970 model year cars..

How long could it honestly take before we reach 7,500 per plate? I didn't think it'd take more than a couple months at most.
