Okay... I'm in a position where I can now afford coilovers. I have narrowed it down to either Pfadt or Pedders. Any recommendations or personal experiences with either brand would be much appreciated.

I have pfadt suspension on mine and I love every bit of it. From what I hear pedders are good too so either way you will be happy.

I believe that pfadt came out with the newest design so I always aim for the new tech.

As stated you can not go wrong with either. I have Pedders SuperCar coil overs. Love the adjustability and can't beat the customer service.

Pfadt coil overs are the best engineered coil over available for these cars without getting into some seriously expensive hardware. The are not the lowest priced option but you get more coil over than you are paying for.

Phadt has been around a long time and builds some nice stuff. However Pedders is in my opinion just a little better quality and performance wise with a large margin on the customer support side. Buying their products has always been a very informative, pleasurable learning experience for me, Pete is just a great guy. The track performance is a adrenalin junkies dream and their street manners are above civilized.

If you can afford the $4100 Pedders Supercar Coilovers....then get them!!! From what I've heard they are wicked. If not, the next best thing are the Pfadt Coilovers.....for much, much, much less!!! The quality on the new Pfadt units is absolute top-shelf. If I had to choose....and I wanted to be somewhat smart with my money....I would choose the new Pfadt Coilovers, probably the drag version.

I just installed my Pfadt Adjustable Coilovers a few weeks ago that I bought from Apex.

They. Are. Phenomenal.

I truly can't say enough good things about them. My entire suspension is built on Pfadt and I would NOT have it any other way.

So far I have:

Pfadt Adjustable Coilovers
Pfadt ZL1 Spec front and rear sway bars and lower arm conversion
Pfadt Subframe Bushings
Pfadt Tie Rods
Pfadt Trailing Arms

My Camaro feels like a freaking race car. It is excellent. With the adjustable coilovers, I cruise around under a fairly tight dampened setting. I don't mind feeling the bumps of the road during normal driving. I'm getting my car built for road racing, so I want to get used to the feel. But, when I need to cruise around with the GF in the car, I can change the dampening fairly easily and quickly to add more ride comfort.

The car is pretty much slammed with about a 1.25 inch drop, which is also adjustable. Again, I tweaked the height until I got it exactly how I want it. The car even feels lower, and the ride is very aggressive.

I actually had a trusted friend drive the car to see the stance when the car is moving. I couldn't stop smiling, and I wasn't even driving! I think I had more fun watching my car drive then actually driving it myself.

The Pfadt parts quality is also second to none. The level of craftsmanship is truly top notch. The parts look and fit great with no issues. Plus, pretty much everything I have installed has provided some weight savings. So, in addition to strong, better looking and better performing parts, I am shedding some pounds as an additional bonus.

I have spent over $4000 on Pfadt parts, and I wouldn't bat an eye if I had to start over and do it again. Absolutely no regrets, and I am 100% satisfied.

Pfadt, all the way everyday and twice on Sunday.

Either will work just fine with those sway bars.

My recommendation would really come down to a few factors. What do you plan to do with the car? And what can you afford?

If you plan on tracking the car and have a pretty good budget, the Pedders super cars are awesome. The Pfadt coilovers are excellent as well, yet a fraction of the price. My next choice would be the Pedders Xa's. They are good for the price, and a good coilover for getting that low look and still maintaining ride quality.

That being said, If it were me, I would shoot for the Pfadt coilovers. As others have said, they are a top shelf product, at a reasonable price.
