A Moment of Silence Please

The motorcycle racing community lost one of its brightest up and coming stars yesterday. Marco Simoncelli died of his injuries he sustained during a crash and encounter with other riders in the Malaysia GP. He was only 24. He was a go getter and raced "hard" with many previous "racing contact" incidents but had the skills to pay the bills.

Say a prayer for him and his family if you roll that way...

More here. CAUTION the video is not for the faint of heart!

Racing is a dangerous sport. Glad he died doing what he loved.

RIP Marco!

Wow. That video was insane. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. Motorcycle racing is an intense and dangerous sport, but the loss of life is always tragic.

RIP Marco.

I know this was some time ago, but this was very sad. That was a bad weekend for racing in general.

I used to watch alot of Moto GP but I missed it for a while. Just got back into it this year. Marco was very talented and always fun to watch. He was agressive and rode the crap outta that bike.

RIP

Thanks all for posting up. I know motorcycles in general aren't at the forefront for most. But this has hit me the hardest since Daijiro Kato died at Suzuka in 2003!
