Me too. I have the springs in the garage proballly going to put on this week. Just make sure you or a reputable shop time the bushing front and back. I geuss its very important when installing lowering springs. I called 3 chevy dealers and they had no idea what i was talking about.
Going with firestone for alignment and bushing timing. $179 for lifetime alingment every 6,000 miles.

I've had the Eibach drop springs and sway bars on now for about 6 months and I love them! Initially I had a little 'creaking', but after a couple of weeks, the springs loosened up and the ride is not too much rougher than stock. Don't forget to re-align the front & rear end after you install them!

I've had them on for about 10 months now and the car still looks and rides nice!

They had the typical creaking at the beginning, but after about a week, they settled nicely and have been perfect ever since.

Creaking new coils are not typical. If new springs creak, regardless of brand, they are either installed incorrectly or manufactured incorrectly.

I've had them on my SS for two years now. They ride a little more harsh than stock but they improve the look and handling A LOT. Make sure you go to a good suspension shop and have all the bushings timed when the alignment is done. It will ensure you get the best possible ride quality out of your new parts.

You will want to look into new endlinks A.S.A.P. The factory links are crap and a good set of aftermarket links will round out the upgrade perfectly. Pete posted a good reference pic in another thread showing the size difference in the links. Replacing the factory crap will allow everything to work together vs. fighting each other.

No, you won't damage anything with just springs. My car went in on Thursday for the install and the guy doing the install had an emergency with his children so he could'nt do the install...dropping it off this week to try again.

Just got mine back from Eibach, they installed springs and sway bars. They used my car to refit sway bars for 2012 ss. The ride is a bit stiffer, but the handling is awesome.
