New member with a new (to me) 2012 2SS

Hey guys! Been lurking around here for a couple weeks waiting for my private sale on my camaro to go through!

I didn't dare post for fear of jinxing myself! Because I drive a truck for a living and the seller was giving me time to come look at it on my hometime. (A week and a half after I called him about it) luckily, hr had just listed it a couple hours ago.

But everything went through and I'm the proud owner of a 2012 2SS!

Looks awesome . Love black ..FYI ,Is that your avalanche in the background .? Because I have one myself. And there's a special black dye product called " forever black "for that faded plastic over the bed that works amazing and it lasts

Thanks man, the two tone leather was one of my big selling points as well! It's been kept immaculate! Plus most I've seen are black on black and I think this gives a little class.

Hey man, thanks, but no its not mine. That picture was taken at the seller's house. My other vehicles are a 2009 aprilia tuono and a 2015 peterbilt 579.

Thanks! I'm in love with it! It's completely unmolested except for a Hurst short throw. I like the short throw but I'm not a huge fan of the leather wrapped knob they used because it's oblong and makes me want to hold it horizontally instead of on top.

Anyone got an opinion, I'm thinking about swapping the bowties out for some polished ones to match the wheels. Thoughts?

You can always change the shifter out to better fit your comfort/style. As for the bow ties I would check out River City. They do quality work

The shifter thing might be because you drive the 579 that way! LOL!

Thanks! I'm pretty happy with the deal I got on it. Guy was asking 25 on it and ended up going to 24.5k because the original Pzero back tires were ready for replacement.

Ended up just replacing all four after reading a pretty well written review on the cooper rs3s tires on here.. have to say I'm pretty happy with them as well, like the feel of the compound alot better than the pirellis. Except I think they still had a thin film of mold release on them when I left the tire dealer, I goose the throttle a little and she got a little carried away on me! Nothing I couldn't handle though. Haha
