I bet you that it will use the outer holes on the factory spoiler deck lid like said earlier in this thread. That’s why I said to use the deck lid with the spoiler holes you’ve got to make a template to drill in the one that doesn’t have the holes. Look at the holes in the picture you posted earlier and compare to these pictures. Looks like it will work just fine to me…
My car had the factory spoiler which I removed for my GM dovetail.

Good Morning. I wanted to let you know that I have the solution I needed its kinda funny so If you don't mind I will share this.

9:pm eastern, My wife and I were enjoying some long needed alone time, Loud Knock on the door. Its My Father in Law and his wife. There here to visit all the way from Texas! God Help me...most of you know the feeling.

Well Pops asked me "What have I been doing with my time" So I showed him the car and the spoiler and the issue of the template. So what's the problem you have what you need, with his Texas bulldog cigar breath! He took the original plastic bag the spoiler came in and used my good emt cleaned scissor's and says hold this and trims out a plastic version of the much needed template in plastic? Looks like a similar one to yours. You recently uploaded, thanks again for that....this morning we are going to Hobby Lobby and he is going to get some sort of paper plastic stuff to make the exact one needed. In His Truck! Dually Chevy Silverado. When Ya gonna get a real truck he said: I'm from California blonde hair the works. So you can just imagine the conversation," When ya gonna get a haircut?" Wife: No one touches his hair!!!!. See what I mean when I say, "should have just sent it to the body shop...hahah... Borrowed images but you get the point.

New template

It won’t be that hard to do. I have the template that came with my GM dovetail still that would loctate the holes you need but unfortunately im holding on to it as I may want to do another one in the future and would need it. But if you could find someone else with that template it would do exactly what you need. I think it has measurements for the holes on it, I can check and post pictures if it does but it won’t be till Monday.
Well apparently Hobby Lobby was closed and old pops is angry sooo
Went to Walmart with him and we found the stuff we needed there. It was poster board $5.00 Markers 4 pack colors $3.99 and clear tape 1.00

Here is what it started to turn into in about and hour. It starts out cutting both drivers side and pass end the markers stained the paper well and so did the outline for the holes. First rendering is crude but accurate. We transferred the rendering to a clear plastic then to a foam type board

Tried it out on the wifes car deck and it was 99% accurate so I took the old saying measure 5 times drill once! to heart Put it all away and me and pops sat it 45 degree weather drinking beers. I hate the cold but after a few who cared. Who new pops had skills ))

I recently added an SS 1LE spoiler to my 2LS. I was lucky enough to have a buddy at work with a '15 1LE car I used as a blueprint. I just used painters tape and a sharpie and let 'er rip! The pre-drill anxiety was worth it, I'm pretty happy with the way it turned out.

Will Infedel67 grow up a tad
Will Sean ever get his spoiler on?
