If you are going to get animal, take care of it. Don't dump it onto the streets when you don't want to take care of it anymore.

Because of POS people, animals suffer.

I found a black lab two days ago, in the middle of the road, on a really busy road. Instead of letting him get hit, I stopped, and got him, and took him home. As of right now, I am trying to find his owner. However, have not had any luck. My plans were originally to take the dog to the pound by Monday, but decided to try craigslist to find a possible new owner. Someone that would care for them. Give the dog a second chance at life, because if I were to take him to the pound, they would euthanize him within 3 days. As of today, I had 2 people contact me about taking him.

Tonight, I was outside, and a dog happened to wander into my yard. Fairly small dog. Closer inspection showed how bad this dogs condition was. She has a skin issue, her nails are extremely long. I'd guesstimate around 3-4 inches past her fur. Most of her teeth are gone, and shes extremely skinny. Skinny enough to where you can see bones.

Bottom line of my rant... is don't be a douchebag if you get an animal. Take care of it, and if you don't want to, then give it to someone that will.

Idiots like them are the reason I have 9 animals! People leave them out in the boone docks where I live.

I have dogs of my own and absolutely hate it when people don't take proper care of their animals once they're not "cute" anymore. My friend brought over his female dog to breed with my dog and I thought that was fine because he'd be getting half of the puppies. Well guess what, he just dumped everything on me, vet expenses and all, and left me to spend for everything. He won't even take his original dog back!
