I think the problem was that there were multiple kids in the car. That's when things get really dangerous, probably trying to show off or act cool with his buddy.

Hope the Camaro owner had the uninsured motorist on the policy otherwise it will be some time to get paid for that,and just what speed was the car hit looks like at least 40mph,why didn't the driver punch it and outrun the car so as not to be hit.Hey kid come here I want you to say hello to my little friend

I hope everyone involved were ok nonetheless. But got-damn!!! All that wait to get the car and then its gone in the matter of days. Man I honestly feel for the owner because (1) thats a beautiful car thats totaled and I personally know what it feels like to have a beautiful get totaled (2) the summer isn't officially here yet and (3) getting another is a gonna be a bitch!!! Man I'd would have been beyond pissed.

Look at the crumple zones. That Engineering did it exactly right, IT DIDN'T EVEN BREAK ANY GLASS except the rear of course. There is definitely "room to live" in this car. Makes me feel a WHOLE lot more confident about my kids in the back seat.

That is a sad sight but it gives me confidence that I will walk away from a major accident, God forbid. That being said, Camaro is replaceable, you are not, the owner will live to drive another 5th gen
