Zip-Tie Your AAC DRL Wires!
Well, just thought I'd give y'all a heads up to zip tie your excess wire on AAC's DRL bulbs.
Driving home today, I heard a loud clunk then bump under the front driver side wheel. I immediately pulled to the side of the road to see what I hit... nada. Then I continued on home and looked at my car's reflection behind a truck; to my dismay, my DRL was gone! My baby had one eye! I sucked it up and pulled the front wheel liner off and realized my tire stripped the DRL housing's holding tabs... $75 to replace the cheap thing!! Short story, zip-tie the excess. As for me, it's an excuse to switch out my plasmas for white LED's and matching switchback turn signals like this for less than AAC bulbs: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/album....ictureid=71659 BTW, who wants to buy the extra AAC P13W DRL? Still functions |
