Angry Here's what happens when You get run off the Road.

I came around a corner and found a car in my lane. I had to turn hard to the right which was taking me into a bank with a curb. I nailed the throttle and turned hard left broke the rear tires loose and slide the right rear tire into the curb. It was that or smash into the car or do body damage by hitting the bank. So now I have to replace the Toe Rod, Wheel and Tire.

Of course the other driver did not stop. Drove the car home and parked it.

Now I will be doing some upgrade to the suspension in the rear. Probably new control arms, toe rods and bushing. Was not looking to upgrade that area yet.

USAA IS GREAT they are covering it.

That totally BLOWS! Would ruin my day/week/month for sure. But at least it's covered and you might do some nice upgrades while your at it. Still, a real pain for sure.

Tire is ok But I am ask for a new one. I had to drive it home and then to the shop for the estamate. This is causing the outside of the tire to wear quickly. I asked the dealer to include two new tires. Only have 1100 miles on the car. Now its parked waiting for them to order the parts. Since I am in Germany it will take some time. It will be quicker if I order the upgrade parts.

The Toe Rod as they call it only cost $25.00 the Wheel 750 tire 450. Plus labor and the Germans don't work cheap either.

I was a tored up for the rest of the day!

usaa is awesome. hope you get it fixed real soon. i'd've turned around and chased that douchebag if it was possible though, and at least gotten a plate number.

Depending on your deductable I think the wheels are available from GM parts warehouse for around 550 and tires at tire depot for under 400. I don't know about overseas shipping. Amazing, they run you off the road and don't even check to see if you are alive.
