that picture where you car is literally half way under water I wouldnt even know what to do. Hope it all gets resolved soon. Unless you want to rebuild the engine and make it a badass engine build i wouldnt buy it back the only things i saw worth something personally to your new build would be the wheels and the hood but you know us and our love for our cars, I completely understand that emotional attachment. On the bright side at least you started a build thread

all over the place..... buy a new z51 vette, used ZL1 or Zo6 or grand sport, new or used 1LE, build/buy a miata with a small block, wait to see what they do with the 6thGen, even thinking of getting a new 3/4 ton chevy
Depends on the deals I find

Ya, really on the fence on what to do, too late in the year to spend money on a car to sit for the next 4 to 5 months. Once the new camaro debuts with the package options it will have, that will really make my decision a little clearer, hopefully. I am really wanting a 1LE, just don't want to buy out of impulse.

Why buy a 1LE when you have all the stuff and suspension to make a loaded 2SS look the same? In other words that once you add on all your parts to a 1LE, it will not be a 1LE no more. Just on paper only.
Sorry about your car. It was beautiful. |

I've been watching lots of those too.....
The new camaro is really peaking my interest. waiting to see the performance numbers and statistics. this will determine if I buy a car to keep or eventually trade in on a 6th gen; and how much I am willing to spend.

thanks guys....
still on the hunt, found some good deals, have pretty much decided to go with a 1LE, but hesitant on pulling the trigger so close to the release of the 6th gen. I was going to seriously consider a z28 (found a few really discounted), but the manual seat was a concern for me, I am short 5'7". I sat in it and it felt great, but to sit properly like I like to while doing track days the seat was too high and too close to the headliner, I don't think I would have been able to get a helmet on and it not rub it. tough to say since I didn't take one (helmet) with me then I did my taxes and my job change killed me in taxes oh well, wasn't meant to be yet.
