that picture where you car is literally half way under water
   I wouldnt even know what to do. Hope it all gets resolved soon. Unless you want to rebuild the engine and make it a badass engine build i wouldnt buy it back the only things i saw worth something personally to your new build would be the wheels and the hood but you know us and our love for our cars, I completely understand that emotional attachment. On the bright side at least you started a build thread

Why buy a 1LE when you have all the stuff and suspension to make a loaded 2SS look the same? In other words that once you add on all your parts to a 1LE, it will not be a 1LE no more. Just on paper only.

thanks guys....
still on the hunt, found some good deals, have pretty much decided to go with a 1LE, but hesitant on pulling the trigger so close to the release of the 6th gen.  I was going to seriously consider a z28 (found a few really discounted), but the manual seat was a concern for me, I am short 5'7". I sat in it and it felt great, but to sit properly like I like to while doing track days the seat was too high and too close to the headliner, I don't think I would have been able to get a helmet on and it not rub it. tough to say since I didn't take one (helmet) with me then I did my taxes and my job change killed me in taxes  oh well, wasn't meant to be yet.
