Mast Black Label Heads Stock Intake vs Fast LSXr

Anyone run Mast 11* 256 Heads with Stock Intake Ported TB and switch to Fast102 102 TB? Results? Hearing there is not much of a gain where it counts switching when using the Mast Heads. Trying to decide to spend the $ or just stick with stock Intake on motor (416)

A stroked motor with great heads should be able to take advantage of the 102 intake and TB. As for how much, who knows. The problem is, that pair can cost $1500 or more. That means it's gonna have to make quite a bit of HP to make it worth the cost.

I have always seen gains from a fast 102 all the way back to bolt on ls1s to modded ls*. People will argue the cost/hp, but at the end of the day it is a way to gain power. Your setup you will see a increase.

Thanks for the replies.

Just confirmed from the Manufacturer themselves that they get negligable gains with the LS3. LS7/Intake TB is a different story.

A FAST intake on a bone stock to wild 97-00 LS1 is a great bang for your buck. A LS3? Not so much. His set up May or May not see a decent increase but the FAST 102 setup on a set of LS3 Black Label heads that sticks out in my mind was one that was done about 4-5 years ago where it was some MAST LS3 heads, a VVT stage 1 cam and a FAST 102 set up. It gained 4RWHP at peak and lost torque and HP throughout the power band. I'm sure on a stroker build with a big cam it would be different, how much? Who knows but I'm just saying that intake is not so good for every combination.
