That's because it IS an econobox. But it's a fun econobox -with a great chassis set-up. I'm getting high 27's/low 28s in all-around driving for tank averages.

I'm going to Portland Int'l this summer for the high performance driving school. Can't wait.

(this isn't me)

Still, I'd take a Camaro if I had the extra cash.

yup.

I think the caliber srt4 has more versatility. stage 1 installed, hitting about 310 to the wheels with a CAI and downpipe. Wish we had someone to do a tune to this car, no body does so far. This car is a mid 13sec car with a good track. with slicks and a agp wastegate it will hit 12's.

Hehe, not going to let it turn into some Caliber vs Cobalt pissing contest because that would be a Caliber vs Camaro thread. But they're both econoboxes friend- I concede victory though because of the glovebox-refridgerator.

A tick over 13.0 sec. and you're through the quarter-mile. It's a rush, of course, but not overly dramatic. Try the same thing with this pair's predecessors of 1970 or so and you'll find yourself in a bit of a wrestling match. Ain't progress wonderful? Maybe yes, and maybe sometimes it's fun to wrestle."

speaking of shell, the car has always reminded me of a ninja turtle.

The car had 50 miles on it, so it wasn't broke in. Our G8 GXP picked up 20 RWHP from the baseline dyno pull at 20 miles to the pull at 1,000 miles with no mods.

The Cobalt would look nice with some body mods, but the interior is too plane. Tis why I love the Camaro so much
