Is there anyway we can get a picture and some dimensions on how far you have the half moons spaced out? I mean like how far from the outside edge that the tab needs to be placed. I know you've took the time to realign them, just wondering what these measurements would be that way it'll be easier for us to try. If you don't care to share anyway, I would really love to know. Hey, why did you do only the outside ones, becuase the actual lens is curved? Trying to figure out what you mean with the perspective you were talking about

It's prolly where the outside lights are wrapped around the side of the car a lil more than the inside ones and when looking at it from directly behind the car, the half moon shape probably looks as if it is shifted toward the center a lil too much. Right? Maybe?

Finished mine the other night. My tail lights are the non-rs which are blacked out with tint.

My only tips on doing this is to widen his specs of the half moon by like 1/8" to a 1/4" on both sides. Like he said just make a cardboard template and adjust it to your likings. Use a bright flashlight to shine in bulb hole while you place your half moons inside, this will allow you to line them up with ease. Remember also that the two outside housing set in on an angle so when you align them, be sure to rotate the housing in a way that it'll be like if it was on the car and you were standing right behind it. Use only one cardboard template. This will make sure that all your half moons are the same. Another thing I found was that you don't have to cut a hole quite as big as he used, at least I didn't have to.

It's a pretty quick little process. Took me only like 3 hours and I was taking my time. All you have to do is pull the tail lights, cut out you half moons, cut a slits in tail lights, line them up, screw them down, silicone, and then reinstall. The hardest/time consuming is pulling the tail lights because the nuts are in a place where my extension was too long and without it was too short. I had to use a wrench. No big deal, just time consuming.
