with proper headers and stronger tune, you should do well. Leaks are power robbers.

That's odd, mine pulls hard in 5th and half of 6th

Curious on your outcome though, let us know. And grab some videos if you can

Wink

I talked to a guy who owned an E60 M5 and brought his 09 GTR to Limerock. He told me his M5 would pull away from the GTR over 80 mph both stock. If this is so then you my friend should be the victor.

My money is on you from a roll. You've got him with HP and you weight less.

Camaro weight: 3850-3950 lbs (from this site)
GTR weight: 3,814 to 3,890 lbs (from google and gtrlife)

So weight is actually very similar.

Not sure on the M5 pulling over 80 either, that's very odd. Now I get walked from a 1000cc bike after first gear.

He had exhaust but I took him from a 30 and a 50! 30-130 by a car and a half. From a 50 it was disappointing for the GTR since 50 on the 3.91's is 4k in 2nd gear and right at my power band. Got him by 2 cars from 50-135! No doubt with tune and bolt ons he would probably take me but I'll take the W lol.

M5's put down like 530 at the wheels. They aren't slow...

A cammed 1LE should have little problem against those as well. Friend of mine has beat up on the M5 and M6 and puts down right around 490. The gearing on the 1LE makes them hard to compete with for cars with similar to little more power.

Great kill OP. Told ya!

I have a race setup this weekend with a GTR who is supposed to be putting down 650. I will be spraying him from a roll. I am right at 648 on spray. I expect it to be close but in my favor. He has the full Liberty Walk body kit and spoiler. Hoping all that extra down force holds him back.
