im a full time 21 year old college student. I am an RA (free room and board) and I have a 3/4 scholarship, so I pay very little to fo to a nice school. With that money that I do not have to pay in tuition I set my sights on the concept camaro. Working 6 summers as a lifeguard 8 hours a day 6 days a week, I saved my down payment quickly and substantially. I have already payed off my car and now my 20+ hours a week of work on top of being an RA and school work helps pay for MODS!!!!! soon to be a track car as I was also able to buy myself a '97 civic for daily driving....ahhhh the youth. now to save for the important things in life hahahahhaha

Not my career but my wife's career has afforded me the ability to buy my convert.

I love my wife!

Whatever career you choose, affording a camaro is so very possible. Its all about how bad you want it and the decisions you make which will enable you to buy it.

I know how hard it is to go to school and work at the same time, but its very doable. As a father of two and at 28, i'm only six classes away from a BS in Computer Info. Systems.

But what has allowed me to buy a camaro are deployments, and my new career as a pilot. And to think I probably wont ever use my degree once i get it.

Wow. A lot of people work really hard. Some have theirs handed to them. Some just make major dough. I'm 29 had a 08' Silverado 4x4 and then got my Synergy green, 2011, 2ss with a paint preps job. The secret is no kids.

That may be a secret but it certainly isn't always the case. A good paying career in a stable company/industry can easily offset the cost of a family, just depends on how you manage your finances. (Happily married for 13 years, 2 kids (oldest is 9), single income household for past 9 years).

Of course not always the case but as a young man with a job that doesn't pay as much as some listed having no kids helps you to afford one. I'm just glad I have what I have and able to afford a 2SS, my dream whip as I'm sure many of yours too.
