question about headers on v6
wats the best kinda headers? i kno close to nothing about headers and wats the difference between short headers and long pipe headers? or watever their called and wats better for a louder and deeper sound and performance? thanks for your help

You have two main kinds. Shorty and long tube headers. Shorty headers offer a small gain over stock manifolds. Long tubes is where its at. You can gain serious power and volume.

with shortys you wont see much performance.
with long tube headers you will see and notice extra power. claims puts it at +30 hp. with long tube headers you will get a check engine light on the whole time unless you get a tune which cost 400+. there are different brands, the best depends on your budget. you have the cheapest pacesetters and then prices go up on OBX (stainless steel), then BBK, then american racing headers.

It looks like you are in CA, which you have to address emissions, which LT headers will give you more problems.

OBX might work well for you in FL
I do think the res X pipe with the OBX headers is a good idea with the cat delete
