Question on long tube headers
I have a ss Ls3 with cat back exhaust from solo performance. I was wondering what I should expect sound and drone wise at normal drivin conditions like 55 and 70. Thinking about going kooks or dynatech Lt's if that matters any. Thanks

LT headers will basically just make your current exhaust louder (I know there is more to it) when focusing just on drone. So if your solo system has a little drone now, it'll have a decent amount of drone after the headers.

Mine with Kooks drones very nicely! But, not objectionable!

I do, I do, just chek out my mods in my sig......Sounds really nice with normal driving, you can still hold a converstion and/or listen to the radio without any issues. You know you've got mods, but from the inside it's not obnoxious whatsoever. But omg when you step on it, it's amazing, and if the windows are down it's even better...Check out the link to video of my August dyno run also in my signature.

I have an L99 running TSP LT headers and a Solo Mach XL exhaust with the J Pipes on the rear. My car screams when I accelerate hard but is extremely quite when I cruise. I added the J Pipes onto my Solo system when I installed the headers. It honestly is quieter cruising now than before the headers!
Get the J Pipe if you want the drone to be reduced and they are adjustable to fine tune so you can reduce the drone. The Solo system really sounds great with the headers added. I get major compliments all the time. Awesome setup!! Clutch
