Glad I wasn't only one sliding around the track. Must have been the moisture. Couldn't keep car straight in any gear. Scary runs. Guess I got spoiled at LOR.
Might try again today to see if they prepped it better.

Signing up for drag racing is BS! Some people have to work! Get here at 12:30 on Saturday and still want to charge $100? Get out of here. I would have paid $50. $100 for the 2 days is fair but geeze work with the people that can't be there the whole time. Why would anyone pay $100 to run for the last 3 hrs with apparently crappy track prep. It is cool too see all the cars and people as this was my first camarofest, but if pricing stays like this it will be my last.

Camaro Fest VI - Drag Racing (Beech Bend Raceway)
  Drag strip pics for those that weren't there. I did auto cross 3 times, wife twice, 3 drags, watched drags, hit every vendor, looked at the show cars, bought a few little things, ate lunch, all between 830-1230. I got my money's worth! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I trailered it. I've broken it many times, but this is a first for the engine. Other times it was high dollar driveline components. Not sure what I'm going to replace it with. Money is an issue.

Only thing my tires hooked well on this weekend.. launched the ramp right out lol.. no damage to the car thought thank god haha .
