I always like going to the Newton a Falls show, missed it today because I went to the NHRA Nationals instead. Congrats on the trophy.

Anyone know of a good installer for vinyl stripes in the NE Ohio (Cuyahoga or Medina county)? Thanks!

OHIO CAMARO ENTHUSIASTS/OWNERS REPORT HERE

I did mine myself...it actually wasn't too hard...I bought a window tint kit & used the spray & squeegee in it to apply my stripes...I bought a good cleaner/stripper to get the wax off...striped, washed, then applied the stripes...then washed & waxed after they were on

I may try doing the job myself as well. I have always heard that washing the area to be striped is important (duh!) but didn't think wax removal was necessary. Also, I thought the matte stripes should not be waxed over once they are installed?

you should wax matte stripes, but the you should strip the wax first in the area...you'll then need to wax around the stripes after
