LS3 Snap Crackle Pop
When slowing down with my LS3, the exhaust back drag has a little crackle and pop sound as the car slows down to almost a complete stop. This is a stock setup and I'm just curious if others experience this too.

yes, this is normal. This happens when the computer cuts fuel to the engine. Who would've thought fuel conservation would sound so good.

Normal on more cars than just those with LS3.. my LS1, LS2 and LS3s have done it -- all M6s.. I think it's called DFCO.

The Manual tranny, 2000 rpm exhaust note/drone and decel popping sound is what makes the Camaro stand out as a muscle car besides the looks/design...those that don't like it are driving the wrong Car IMO...

Heck, I didn't need a computer to have this happen on my first car many years ago.

I had a 73 Dodge Charger SE with a 440 magnum. That engine had the coolest sound when decelerating or letting off the throttle. Heck, it had the coolest sound when I was WOT
