CTSV brake Lines?

So i bought the CTSV brakes calipers, now before installing them i have a line issue.

I already have already installed the Goodridge 12219 brake lines installed on my SS but all the CTSV kits come with Goodridge 12227,
do i need to change my lines or will the 12219 fit.

You need to change to the CTS-V lines. The SS lines are shorter and can not be secured to the strut.

I was hoping that the Goodridge lines were long enough,

Yes, there just a bit longer than the SS lines.

Yes you can use the longer lines on the Ss but the shorter lines are not good for the CTSV/ZL1 brakes. i will be getting the CTS-V lines installed soon as I plan to do the swap next summer.

As others have said, you will brake lines specific for the CTS-V conversion. They will work on the SS calipers as well, so those planning to do the conversion in the future should consider going with them the first time. We have a few sets in stock. Please feel free to call, PM or email me anytime with questions.

Best regards,

Another alternate is Racing Brake which i found out today also makes brake lines for the ZL1 and apex sells them here as well for under $140 shipped.
