Waxing before or after winter storage

I am due for a wax soon, but I am going to be storing the car in early november until late march. Does it matter if I wax the car now or when I take it out of storage? I guess what I'm asking is if the wax will wear/fade away at all while the car is in storage (note: it will be stored with a cover on it).

Wax it before and when you bring it out in March!

As long it's in storage then waxing is fine for the winter, but if you want a better LSP then go with a sealant like Blackfire Wet Diamond and protect it all winter long. Spring comes then wash and strip off and re coat for the summer fun.

I always try to wax it good before winter and by early spring I can't wait to wax it again just to be in the garage with decent weather

I second the Blackfire recommendation, but I don't see a need to strip and reapply again in the Spring. I thought it would layer ok. Is the car in a garage under cover? If it's inside, there shouldn't be anything to degrade the wax/sealant.
