My RRM 2015 2SS /RS 1LE build
My build started in October 2015 with the purchase of my 2nd 5th Gen camaro. My previous camaro was ordered and it was a Summit White 2011 2SS /RS m6. Great car and had it for 3 years. My current camaro is a red rock metallic 2015 2SS /RS 1LE. It's a lot like the 2011 but better. I got a post card from the sales lady that I had dealt with in the past and she was at a different chevy dealership. I looked online a they had this car. I called her and asked her to work up the best deal, I'm not a haggler, just go to your best price and if I like it I'll buy, if not, I'll walk away. I didn't need the car. She got me a 47k car for 41,900.
The first thing I did was order a CAI intake and installed it myself. |

I December 2015 I had ordered and received some bolt ons. BBK 1 7/8"long tube ceramic coated headers with high flow cats, 0 ohm spark plug wires, ngk spark plugs, drilled and slotted rotors. I made an appointment with 360 customs in Brandon. Took the car in on a Friday morning, went back around 4:30 after all the parts were installed and was there for the dyno tune. 397 hp, 395 tq before mods. 432hp 435 tq after mods.

After surfing camaro5 forum for a couple of months, I decided to get the BF Goodrich gforce comp 2 a/s tires. I read mostly good reviews and relatively inexpensive. I ordered the at Discount Tire and had them installed on January 22. 285 35 20 up front and 305 35 20 out back. Much quieter tire and handling is good. It's not a super sticky F1, but I'm not going to track the car.

I've got to figure out how to rotate the photos. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Really like this color. Nice looking car. I want a set of these BFG tires after reading so much about them on here, so they need to get the 305's off of backorder!!!

I recently ordered the tread wear white letters for my BF Goodrich g force tires and finished installing them today. I really like how they turned out. Last edited by Rrm20151le; 04-08-2016 at 08:11 PM. Reason: Emoji didn't insert, script only. |
