ICE members at going to Mid West Camaro fest on Saturday local area members are meeting up at McDonald's on Mills civic Pkwy at 5:30 am with a departure time of 6 no later gonna have a few for sure and planning on stopping at Camaro's diner on way back for dinner and pic op !

How about a killer 1-owner 1SS/RS automatic with under 10,000 miles and thousands in upgrades? Never seen weather. Short list: Pedders coil overs, CCW wheels and MSSP tires, every suspension bushing upgraded, dyna tech headers and custom center dump exhaust with j-tubes, JRE tune, sways, endlinks, trailing arms, toe links, re-located heater hose kit, shrader rear seat delete and more. Camarofest looks awesome, if youre planning on going make sure you book your rooms soon. Looks like the block of rooms has already filled and the rooms are going for $700-$800 per night now lol. Cfest would be an awesome trip, but id rather spend my couple grand on the car as opposed to a weekend trip!

I understand the costs. Thousands is way off. I race there 2-3 times a year and hotel rates for the whole Cfest can be as little as 3-400$. All you need is a shower and a bed with A.C. to get out if the heat for a few hours-nothing fancy required. There are hundreds of rooms around town and three large hotels right together-their prices were around 115.
There will always be more car mods to buy, but not always this great of an event with great people.
With proper dicipline/money management over the year, the total event costs are easily accounted for.
I'd rather spent my valuable time and money with 1000 other camaro owners with memories, than save some dollars for mods I have decades to accumulate. No rush-dont plan on selling.
Enjoy your ride- stock or wild-all's good.

^^amen to the last bit. I do know the blocked rooms that the first forum posters snagged are gone but I agree I'm sure you could find a motel 8 or Days Inn or something a little out of town for pretty cheap. Who knows, maybe a trip to cfest is in the cards later this year if vacation time doesn't get eaten up.

New here I just purchased a 14 ss about 4 months ago have done a few minor mods with big mods in the works

so Iowa guys who's a good tuner around here? want a shop not just a guy with a laptop that can disappear if his tune is bad.
