When I owned a v-6 everyone and their mother wanted to race.Pretty annoying. But now that a own a SS seems like I've only had it happen a couple of times.Pretty sure some of these people didn't know the difference though. Maybe it was the change of color.I went from black to cyber grey metallic.

Firstone, I guess its like everyone assumes your a bad ass if your in the military. If they can kick your ass they get a gold trophy. Same concept for the Camaro. If they can kick the Camaro's ass its an achievment.

Interesting thoughts, I've never thought about that until today. Everybody wants to beat the champion.

I usually don't bother with most other cars, Ricers, Camaro's Roush mustangs (all beautiful cars)

I raced a Twin turbo supra and left him completely Shocked

In my sub 3000lb Modded C5 Z06 lol

I launched so hard and fast his Jaw just dropped and his eyes were all lit up at the next light lol

Any more these days, I just drive the car for my own enjoyment ,

It's a fun car to work on,

It gets a lot of compliments from other car owners,

and sometimes when I come out of stores etc, There will be people standing by the car looking at it, (Thats the part I dont like)

I had some guy in a Corolla last night keep trying to instigate a race with me. My two thoughts were wow this guy is dumb and that I'm definitely not racing. Some people just don't have much sense these days when it comes to driving.

I get G35's and 350Z's quite often who wanna race me along with the occasional Prius and Lexus IS!

I never race... not worth the risk and def not worth the police ticket if I get caught!

I think it is funny!! I think most people just want to see it go FAST!!

I was on my way home from work the other day. Talking to my husband via bluetooth, and had just picked up my son from school. I was sitting at a red light, about 3 cars back. This car beside me, I was not paying any attention to, but finally caught it out of the corner of my eye. It kept jumping a little, so I looked back, some old guy late 60's in a buick lesaber talking on his cell, when he saw me notice him, I could read his lips. "I am trying to ge this Camaro to race me". I just died laughing, I wanted so bad to give him what he wanted "eat my dust buddy" but had absolutley no place to go but slow. Sad to say he won the race. LOL. I bet he bragged all night long about that win.
