Maybe its because the renters beat the shit out of it? My dads friend has a 2007 Murcialego and he already put over 20k miles on it. No problems other than $700 oil changes and $4000 worth of tires. I think the 10k service cost $5,000 though.

When you say you've owned a Lamborghini, we raise the BS flag. Prove it with pictures.

I do agree with you about the electronics. I've heard of problems for these cars.

My 96 Jetta commuter has 179k miles on it and besides an intermittent airbag light and a moody sunroof she runs like a champ.

There are goods and bads of every make and model...there's plenty of people who could say the same thing from a bad string of luck from a particular Chevy and we'd string them up for it here...hehe.

I have a friend who is a VW mechanic and he told me the the 93 thru 98 Jettas, Golfs and GTIs are the most reliable. They did something wrong with the wiring on the new ones and quite a bit of them come back for electrical problems. I grew up with VWs and Chevys, my second car was a 1970 Beetle that I still own.

My parents have owned only Acuras for over a decade. We take those cars in for maintinence like going to the Wendy's drive thru. Transmission blew twice in my dads 3.2 CL, luckily still under warranty.

Case in point the most "reliabale" cars on the planet haven't been living up to their name in my experience.

I cant speak for Lambo, but my family has had multiple 911's, and Multiple 'S' model Audi's and i cant remember the last time anything had a problem.

I bet for the designers, this mileage is an achievement. Don't be too hard on it....christ's sake.

I've heard of Audi's having electrical problems, VW's are said to be less reliable than average, though that doesn't mean you WILL have problems. Porches are supposed to be good. Lambo? If you can afford one, you can afford a second car for if/when its in the shop.
