Decent day at the track
I am going to apologize to all my fellow ZL1 owners that have stored their cars, but I went racing yesterday for a little fun.
Made 6 passes averaging 12.486 for all passes, with a best 12.400 @ 117.74. I'll attach the slip. None the less, car is all stock, stock Goodyears down to 26 pounds, shifting just before 6k. I don't know what the DA was, but the temp was in the low 60s down in Jackson, SC. It was great to finally see some good mph (117-118) out the back door, but I'm still trying to get back to the 1.90-1.95 60' times. None the less, the car was fairly consistent throughout the day. I was running into a bit of heat sink in the blower, but that is to be expected without an upgraded heat exchanger. So with doing a couple back to back passes, I was losing .1 - .2 per run. Well, time to plan for the first round of mode.....

That is about as good a 60 foot time as I ever got on the stock tires, just out of curiousity, how were you launching the car? What rpm and do you feel like you are dragging the clutch or are you letting it go pretty quick?
