I just mounted up Continental DWS tires and what a difference.
Really takes the harshness out of the ride, and seems quite a bit quieter.

I found that it’s just worse in colder weather with these shocks. I have oem Goodyears getting ready to go back on in hopes of getting some traction again.

My complaint with the OEM's is the tread life, I get about 12-13k miles and about a year out of them. Plus they throw rocks at the rear quarters like no ones business.

The Continental Extreme Contact sports got me over three years and 35k miles and still have life left in them, rock abuse is greatly reduced.

The DWS's I got for the colder months when temps hang below freezing, just trying them out now as I have to send one of the 1LE wheels off to get straightened.

I will probably get the newest Contis too. My Bridggestone S007 rears have made it 12k

I have 2500 miles on my Conti EC 02's
great decision IMO

rides really nice without losing much performance
a bit less bite on entry but WAY better for everyday life on the street.

on new asphalt it rides like a CT4

Those might be the all around choice unless you have Michelin money.

If you get 305/35/20 tires versus 305/30/20 you get a half inch thicker sidewall to ride on without changing wheels. Also I did H&R springs which are a progressive spring rate instead of linear. Even though the car sits lower somehow the ride is less jarring. I expected it to be harsher.

Quality coil overs should be a significant improvement. Any time I've driven a car with them, they were significantly better at absorbing bumps. The magnetic factory suspension is pretty good, but quality coil overs allow you to dial it in much better for your use.
