This Sucks!
Every time I go and tell me my self I can do these DIY Mods, I screw them up it's like I am wiping my ass with my money. Plus living in Kansas just makes it worse.

Are you near Wichita? There several shops here that can do it.

Find a sign shop. I bet they would do it.

I've installe hood spears, gill stripes and fender stripes. If you're talking about the big hood double stripes, that is NOT AN EASY job. The hood spears were narrow and short and positioning them just right took allot of repositioning, etc., etc. The big stripes, given their size, are much more difficult. I believe most have these done by a shop that does this often. Don't beat yourself up, not easy to do. Even the fender stripes I put on, years after having done the spears, frustrated the heck out of me. It's not near as easy as many would think or the instructions make you believe.

if you lived close to me, id putem on for you.iv done plenty of graphic kits before.did the ones on my car.there were easy, compared to some iv done in the past. i got mine for free from the dealer when i bought my car.someone else ordered them and never picked them up,so they gave them to me.(i think it was because i was going to walk on the deal)

Check places that do tinting or clear bra installs as well.

I just had rally stripes put on my Camaro. I tried vinyl shops, body wrap shops and window tint shops. Some wouldn't touch it, some wanted to charge an outrageous price and others said they'd do it for a decent price, but if they messed up, I was responsible for buying replacement stripes.
After about three months of searching, I found that one of the local dealers had the best price. They even let me order the stripes myself from gmpartsdirect since their price was $100 cheaper than the dealer. Just make sure you call several local dealers. The one closest to my house wanted $550 for the stripes and $300 for installation. I ended up paying just under $300 for the factory stripes and $200 for install at a dealership closer to my work. I had actually bought an aftermarket kit on Amazon shortly after buying the car. It was paper backed unlike the OEM stripes that are plastic backed. I pretty quickly ruined the hood stripe when I tried to apply it myself. The backing separated when it got wet and it was all down hill from there. I'm sure I could of done the trunk and spoiler myself, I actually still have the aftermarket kit minus on hood stripe. |
