I just changed the mufflers from stock to Flowmaster 10 series and kept original tips and piping, and sounds great. Only cost $140 + 90 to install, total $230.

That's the exact setup I'm running. I love my series 10 Flowmasters. Gave the car a great tone.

Not for me. Mine sounds great especially for a V6. Couldn't beat the price, made no sense to buy new piping when it was still new on the car and it's just as good quality. Multiple shops told me it would be a waste of $$ to buy new set up. I would have changed the tips but couldn't find any flat black ones in local stores, and the one's online I thought were too much $$. The series does matter though, 10's are the loudest from what I was explained.

Here's one other thing. Everyone claims that Axel Back systems "Do Not" provide any additional horsepower and it's done mainly for sound. Then how is it, Flowmaster were able to show horsepower gains?? Is it their dyno, is it the car or what's up?? Surely, they aren't lying with the numbers they have posted. I for one believe that the moment you open up the exhaust on any vehicle you're going to see performance gains. How much depends on the vehicle.

Just my .02 cents

Do you a Flowmaster Part Number for the series 10 muffler you use?
I have the American Thunder axle backs, but looking for a set up for my sons 2013.
Thanks a bunch!

843015 is the number from my ebay purchase. But mine has the 3in inlet/outlet, they do offer the 2.5in which is easier for install.
