I am not going to read the entire thread but I used to have a D1 and every retard at the car shows would tell me how poorly engineered the filter setup was. Now riddle me this? how the hell is the filter going to suck hot air off the headers unless you are PARKED? does anyone not understand how much air is coming through the grill? Imagine BBQing steaks on your new propane grill, in 100MPH wind storm with the lid open.

Just got it back and love it. Yes Engine is completely Forged currently running right at 13lbs of Boost on 100% VP M1 Injection(starts kicking in around 4lbs) Just driving around town stop and go the other day 85 degrees IATS were really low and the Race BOV sounds like a Rocket Engine lol.

Aside from the intercooler and oil cooler there are a a number of other details that control underhood temps and help reduce IATs.

Remove the sound blanket from the top of the intake.
