14 ss iron 6.0/tr6060/billet s475 build thread!!

Hello all, new member here. Just sold my TT ta to build something a bit more street friendly. I will update as I go, just wanted to get this thread going!

14 m6 theft recovery car with 30k miles
Scored a ly6 that had a 5th gen pan, ls9 cam, and 317 heads with arp studs for $1100.

Few pics of my old ta build and the start to my 6 pt roll bar with swing outs

Did a few destructive tests on some welds when I started the trans am about 150’ of tubing ago. Chromoly failed on the outside of the heat affected zone, not my bead. I got a pretty good idea now. Thanks man, pretty easy when you get the hang of it. Running about 95amps.

I made the 2000hp A2W ic on my trans am and pressure tested up to 80psi as I hid behind the car, she held lol

Building long block as we speak! Anyone got actual real clutch and fuel experience in the 900whp range? Need to get those coming.

With the weight of these cars, in spite of the weight reduction you may be doing, you might want to seriously consider the Street Slayer Triple carbon clutch. Fully rebuildable.

I ran one for a long time until I outgrew it with 2K plus RWHP. I run the quad now.

With the triple, the clutch pedal release was as smooth as butter, and there was no chatter. This is not an on off switch type of clutch. It just works great. Expensive at first, but ingest easier to pocket with each future rebuild. I never had any issue with the triple I ran.

Just my opinion..

Got the brake lines cut and fuse box relocated. Not looking forward to shortening wires.
