mustang problems lol

have any of you seen the problems with the s550 mustangs.
the list is endless.
rust seems to be the latest thing with these cars.
aircon failures is happening all over the place.
amazes me why they buy them..a little bit of research will tell you avoid them like the plague.
wouldn't mind if they drove any good. terrible handling cars and nothing compared to our cars.
only thing better i they are cheaper. i owned one for a year. was glad to see the back of it. mine had such a bad driveline clunk it was a joke.

https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/thr...dywork.158049/

good luck with that lol..well known fords rust..here in sweden they become scrap once 8 years old

New coyote engines hit 500whp with bolt ons and E85 that’s why people get them. Headers, air intake and flex fuel is all it takes and they can out run many other cars. But the built engines don’t last for crap and the plastic drain plug makes it so you can’t do high boost.

Wheel hop was the only problem I had with my 15 GT/PP, put a Grand in Steeda parts under it and I was good. No other issues. Heard plenty of the engine tick and typewriter stuff though. My MT82 wasn't particularly problematic, either.

what about stability over 90 mph? how can you go over that speed safely in one .
mine frightened me to death trying that..the hood flutter was ridiculous.
imho these cars are not only nothing but problems but also dangerous. putting a 500 bhp motor in a chassis that cant handle it equals death trap.
they are called crowd killers for a good reason

I had the hood flutter but I wasn't bothered by it per se. Too, my understanding the new(er) GT's have what was the PP1 suspension under them as that recognized problem. I nearly wrecked it a few times early on when that wheel hop would hit and spin out. I never hit anything. But there was quite abit of Steeda parts I put under it that neutralized it.
Not great cars and the Camaro is a much MUCH better chassis!!!

The Mustang is killing the competition in sales though. That's what matters.
I think any car enthusiast truly knows the Camaro is the best overall performance car in terms of engineering and value. Unfortunately, the Camaro's future seems weak simply because of its low sales.

Even though I love Camaros the new mustangs are pretty as fuk. They really appeal to the average person who wants a sports car. The 6th gen is just to common looking except the zl1.

My 2012 Mustang GT was a great car overall. At the end the AC went out and some paint bubble on the hood. Other than that no issues.

However the build quality on the Mustangs are not even close to the quality our Camaro's have. I think the Camaro is a much better built car too.

Mustang is thousands cheaper, and yes very mod friendly and can be made to beat an SS without SC it but overall the build of the car is cheap.

I never owned the new Mustangs. They still look pretty cheap inside though.
