Has Anyone done a "center speaker delete" and filled the hole with a gauge pod? There is something about putting Gauges on the A pillar with airbags behind it that is unsettling to me.

ADM boost and air to fuel gauges. I don't like the look of gauges on the A pillar for myself so I went with ADM gauges. I like the stealth look these give you. I love em!!

The air bags deploy up along the top of the window, and then down.

There are cars that have OEM A-pillar gauges with side airbags...

The Pillar mounts all seemed too intrusive and "in your face" to me and not all that pretty. I had a custom console mount made that I am happy with. Here's a few pics:
