Arizona All Gens and Arizona F-Body Association Cruise up Mt. Lemon

A collaboration between The Arizona F-Body Association and the Camaro5.com Arizona Camaro All Gens, club cruise was planed months ago to take a drive up Mt. Lemon in Tucson Arizona. The main focus of the cruise was for the northern members of both clubs to get out of the Phoenix heat. Which was starting to top out at 109 degrees, and in Tucson itself was 103. The temps on Mt. Lemon were a cool 82 degrees, with a light breeze, an everyone was thankful for the fantastic driving weather.
The Phoenix crew met up at AZ Mills, and then met up with the Tucson club members at Udall Park, Tucson. After every one arrived it was officially counted that we had 53 cars on the way up to Mt. Lemon. With a few minutes to gathering everyone up for the convoy, the cruise leaders called for the start of the 25+ mile trip up Mt. Lemon. We started out at about 3000ft above sea level and would end our trip just shy over 8000ft. above sea level.
As we drove up the mountain there were plenty of twists and turns to get every ones blood pumping. The views were spectacular to see as we kept going higher and higher. Once we reached the top, there were plenty of things to do. Ranging from eating at one of the restaurants, going hiking, or even going up the ski lift to the very top and enjoy the view of Tucson below.
For a few hours, everyone was able to enjoy the weather, great conversations, and catching up with old friends.
At the end, we drove down the mountain, and met up for one last dinner of the day at El Guero Canelo's Mexican Restaurant to enjoy some Mexican Hot Dogs and other fantastic food and drinks.
When all was said and done, we shook hands, gave hugs, and said our good bye to our Camaro and Fire Bird friends, just to meet up again in the future.

Great video. I love the front and rear bumper cam shots. Too bad I couldn't make the run -- had to work :(
