Cam and Stall launch?

I got full bolt ons, LS3 conversion, Cam and 2800 stall. What's the best way to launch at the track? 1/4

Take the slack out of the drive train ( bout 1000 rpm ) then just nail it and release brake at the same time.. Provided your tires will hold it.. If not just roll into the throttle. To get the full benefit of converter you need traction..

Bacially like the other guys said. Stock converter is 1800 so your at 1k over stock.

So you could test with all rpms over 1000 holding the brakes on the line and see what works best with your car. It probably likes a little flash to hit the tire harder, but if you got street tires you may wanna get up on the converter a little more so it leaves smoother.

My gen4 is totally diff than the gen5 when it comes to launch. But the stock gen5 seemed to like about 1200 rpm on the line.

What is your tire setup?

You'll have to experiment and see what your combo likes. Some converters like to be stalled up as high as possible (my past experience with Yank), and some like you to hold the rpms steady and then flash it by flooring the gas from there.

Assuming you are on drag radials, 1.7's would be nice and 1.65's would be even nicer.
