Even with the V-6 brake system, i'm pretty sure a 15" wheel won't fit. Gonna have to have a completely different custom made or at least custom fitted brake system along with some very custom LCA's (as the guys above are working on). This little project is gonna get expensive!

I would settle for being able to put 16" wheels on. The V6 brakes will work with some of those, but the rear LCAs still need to be modified.

Yep, you are correct there, the LCA's will still need some work, even with the 16's. I wonder if the new BMR LCA's would have enough of a cut-out in them? But with the intent of this thread being for 15" wheels, the V-6 brakes won't work.

I don't want to thread jack Hendrix thread, but I got a recent email that indicates yes, "that other company" is nearly ready to release a new rear LCA that will clear a 15" wheel.

I'm glad that vendors are realizing these cars are often used for drag racing and there is a demand for part to allow us to use smaller wheels.

I'm going to install a set of the rear lca's on my car from "that other company" this coming week. I'm sure they will talk more about them as soon as they become a production piece.

Not trying to burst any bubbles or thread jack but the other guys LCA's that are supposed to clear a 17" won't clear welds 17"s on my car.

Make enough room to fit the most backspace possible with the stock tubs. That should be plenty =)

That's why they are developing the new ones.

We're not talking about the same LCAs. They're making new ones because they know about that problem.

The new lca does clear a 15x10.5 wheel. When my wheels return with tires on them I'll make a thread with pictures of the new parts installed.

Tom,

I have a set of V6 rear calipers if you are still in need of some for some measurements. Would be glad to loan them to ya. Let me know.
