this.i drove both and liked the camaro better, not just the styling but the way it drove.

110,000+ sales of the S550 in the first year alone. Remember a Camaro selling that good in the last six years? Ford got something right!

IMO 69 Camaros are the best looking muscle car, only 69-70 Chargers can come close to that...So not a tie. But hey that's probably just me..

2010-2015 Camaro's outsold mustangs in total sales and four out of five years, I believe.
623,826 total , what's the Mustangs total for 10-15?

LOL ok. And which of those years broke 110,000+??? 2011 was the best sales year for the 5th gen Camaro. That year GM sold 88,250 Camaros. That's not bad. I bought one. But that's WAYYYYY Short of the 2015 122,350 S550 Mustang's sales! Hence the original question I asked. If you want to play the numbers game from 2009 to today. You'll still lose because the S550 sales have been amazing! See charts below. Charts taken directly from the Camaro6.com sales thread. I'd hope the 5th gen Camaro would outsell the S197 Mustang that was out for five years before the Camaro was released. If you cant outsell a car that's been out for five years with a brand new product. Modeled after the beloved 1969! Making it's triumphant return after an 8 year absence. Your doing something wrong.

How can I lose? I'm not the one driving a Ford! Haha! How come the thread says 623,826 and you have 602,000? 2015 numbers were 105,+. That just tells me that mustangs sell, wow, surprise surprise. Bon Jovi sold a lot of records, that doesn't mean there better than say Zepplin. Glad you like your car, stop trying so hard to justify your buy. You like it , be happy about it. I don't have to, because I bought the car I like and I am happy about it. My wife likes Mustangs, and maybe one day she'll get one. But I'm a GM man through and through.

The thing they got right was finally putting an independent rear suspension in there pony car, like Camaro's have had since 2009.

You lost as soon as you bought the V6!

I'm just FU@King with ya.

How ever. I'm missing your point about me justifying my purchase? The topic is style. A totally subjective topic. Me pointing out that the s550 style sold extremely well. Is a direct reply to the topic of the thread. Style sell cars. If magazine comparisons and horsepower numbers sold cars. The 6th gen Camaro would be destroying the S550 Mustang and the 5th gen is sales. Neither is the case.

Car's would not sell if they were ugly, lacked style and features. Clear indicator as to why the Camaro sold and now the S550 is selling.

Also, I cannot seem to find a 2009 Camaro. I find 2010 models, but, not 2009 models.

Ford had IRS's in 2000 in the Cobra R and also in the 03/04 Cobra which were a lot better than the small 28 spline found in GM products that were snapping left/right.

So, yeah, Mustangs and Camaro's suck. Dodge is where it's at. :P

That's alright, I got you with the Ford comment, so something was coming back, that's fine. Style sells cars? Somewhat true. Upgrades help sales too. Do not discount the independent rear suspension helped drive sales. Also if you look at the restyled 'stang from the rear quarters back, they widened the fenders over the tires , like the Camaro. They rounded out the tail end, like the Camaro. They added independent rear suspension, like the Camaro. Style is subjective, just like music. Country music 'sells' a lot of copies, but if your not a fan ,you'll never buy it. Just like cars. If your not into mustangs or fords, your not going to buy one.
