Hi there,

My co-worker wants to race me in his 2015 Audi S4. He thinks he can beat me. My car has the bolt ons below, but it is heavier because it's a vert. What do you guys think?

Could be interesting on an 1/8 mile track. Due to the AWD. You should win a roll or 1/4 mile run.

Thanks for the replies boys...That's what I was thinking too. The AWD is the only thing that sort of worries me...I think he'll get the jump, but I should pass him in the quarter

With the S4 gearbox and AWD he should get a jump on you but you will eventually overtake him.

I wouldn't put money on it. Easy to mod that 3.0. The stock 2015 S4 should be capable of 0-60 in 4.4 and the 1/4 13.0 Modded ones are quite a bit quicker. The modded ones I've researched (briefly) are <120 trap, but quite a few in the mid - low 12s and high 11s.

One ECU flash away from a 100+hp gain. For example, a modest/safe tune on that engine with 93 octane takes it from 333hp to 444hp (crank). Up to 465hp with race gas. And consider it's not a peaky engine, there is a lot of average horsepower and torque throughout the rev. He could also upgrade the pulley for more boost to get even more torque and a bit more hp.

Looks aside (subjective), Audi's can be fun cars and have a great aftermarket support.

If that was my S4, I'd come prepared with at least an ECU race tune engaged, and 100octane in the tank.

But it's not. I hope you show him that sexy Camaro rear end. Or at least your quarter panel...

Just remember us verts are carrying lots of extra weight that even our much sexier cars have to account for.

way too over engineered and pig ugly.
seen sooooo many people get stung buying german shite here in sweden..once out of warranty u might aswell get a sack of cash every year and burn it..
