Mid-Atlantic loves their Camaros!!

I Just came back from a trip to the DC and was shocked at the number of Camaros I saw! I am from New Jersey and in the 6 months or so that I've had my car and have been looking out for Camaros, I've seen only 10 other cars. However, on this 4 day trip alone I saw upwards of 30 different Camaros in and around the DC area (Delaware, Maryland and VA included), with each one on a separate occasion so I know this wasn't a meet or gathering. Is this normal? Do you really have this large volume of cars as I was genuinely shocked. If so major props to you guys, your region makes me considerably more proud to be a Camaro owner! Thanks

I seem to see at least one every day on the roads. Even saw a IOM ZL1 convertible the other day on 270. Plus there always seems to be a some kind of event going on every weekend during the warming months. I'm just getting back into reading the forums again now that spring has officially
begun.

I'd say "YES", normal. It was rare to see another one early on in summer of 2009, but now not so. We had 6 show up that 1st summer in Waldorf MD. #'s have increased at get togethers every year since. Glad you were able to see so many being how the weather has been.

Driving home from Columbia today I saw one on a wrecker, man was it tore up. Drivers side and rear bumper was tore off. Then as i go to the tunnel I saw a brand new Hotwheels Edition on a hauler.

So did I! I was on M street a lot as I was looking at colleges in the vicinity (Georgetown and GW) and saw the highest concentration there. A couple red ones, one with a heritage grill, another with a ground effects kit, and some stock ones of varying colors. Btw, love DC
