Duplicate window sticker.
Does anyone know how to get a duplicate window sticker for one of our cars? My car had 94 miles when I bought it, but no window sticker! I NEED ONE!!!!

I'm curious what window-stickers.com has to say. I bought my car used with 300 miles on it. It didn't have the window sticker or the owners manual. The owners manual I got from my local dealer. The window sticker on the other hand was a chore and I never did get one. From what I was told it had to be obtained from the original dealer that took delivery of it from GM, and then you had to find somebody at that dealer that wanted to mess with getting it, I tracked down the salesman that sold the car new, he told me he would order it and that it would take 6 weeks to come in, I called back 6 weeks later, salesman had quit and no sticker had been ordered. Dealer wasn't interested in helping me from that point. My car was dealer transferred when new, so that added to my confusion of tracking the elusive window sticker down. I even did some research and found the original owner, asked him if he still had all the missing items, he didn't.

_aJ_, you might also want a build sheet (in the car at delivery to dealer), and probably the certificate of authenticity (sent to first owner after purchase). These along with the window sticker are items that current/future owners want. These documents tell the story of our cars.
Check out any Vette, and the documentation is key to knowing about the car. We are talking pedigree here, yah we have unique VINs, and all of the special race cars components. No, I don't think we will ever have any future "clones", or issues with questionable Z/28s like the 1st generation has to deal with. I think we can all agree that it is about current and future owners having those documents which an enthusiast "needs" to feel that their car is complete.

Zslash28, I attempted to get the certificate of authenticity as well, GM customer service was very polite in telling me that it's only offered to whoever bought the car brand new. Not somebody buying a used one. Anybody else been told this? They did send me a letter of authenticity (I think that's what it was called anyway). I'll take it I guess. Lol.

Below is what I got back from Chevrolet customer service. If you contact them they will get you one I'm sure.
Your safety is very important to us at Chevrolet, so please remember to not use any hand held device whenever you're driving Good Afternoon Mr. Meadows, Thank you for contacting Chevrolet Customer Assistance regarding your 2015 Camaro. After further research it looks like the only way to obtain a certificate of authenticity is to be the original owner of the vehicle. What I can do is request a letter of authenticity that will include the VIN, year, make and model and we can also include production totals for the Z28 model. If you would like me to submit for the letter of authenticity please contact me back via chat, e-mail, or phone and I can get that sent out. I look forward to hearing from you soon! Have a great day! The parts department at a dealer can reorder them for about $10 each for replacements if you can find somebody willing to look into it.

I got a replacement window sticker from the dealer on my 2012. The original was destroyed when I picked up the car. They ordered me a new one and I had in in about a week, no charge. My wife does work at the dealer but I would think if you didn't get one when you purchased the car they would do the same at any dealer.

My car was sold new at multi Chevrolet in New Jersey. They have changed hands. That wouldn't happen to be the dealer your wife works at would it? PS, great looking Pace Car!
