I have a 2010 2SS/RS with

- 6 speed manual
- England green dyno tune
- straight pipe exhaust
- vararam "tune model" intake
- lsr short throw shifter


I agreed to line them up, as of course It's all in good fun and I have yet to run one of those MOPAR's yet.

Do you think I will get my butt handed to me? I believe he has a 6 speed as well.

I have posted a link to his dyno graph and his recent time slips from the other website, hope he doesnt mind. Doubt he does:

So, if it seems that on paper he would smoke me, I was planning on installing long tube headers this spring before the race...

Would this even out the playing field any?

Anything else I can do to beef up for race day?

I posted over on the rumblebee site to see if you want to line up the week of 19 March. I will be driving to KC the weekend before to pick up either the challenger or another car to bring to Houston for the week. let me know if you have time to line them up that week. it will be one of the few weeks I am driving back and forth to KC for a while.

dam, should of checked this thread. just paid for round trip tickets the weekend before and after the 19th. I have my mom comming to town to help my daughter recover from her cancer surgery on the 19th. I will bring the challenger down the weekend of 30 March and we can figure out a good day to go have fun.

What track you guys going to? HMP(1/8 MILE) - LSMP (1/4 MILE) or RPR (1/4 MILE)?

Maybe you could give me some driving tips for my Charger

I do not know any of the tracks in Houston. I would prefer a 1/4 mile track.

When I bring the car down I would be happy to meet some folks at a track for a fun evening.

the camaro has gobs of tq management. but it can be tuned oot.

I think you should be able to take him with the added hp from headers. Throw in a nasty CAM and you'll probably have him for sure.
