No...I've seen the video. I just wanted to know if there was a significant sound/feel difference and what that was.

I grabbed the base and it's round. It's the area right under the knob. Does that come out after the upgrade? You can feel the mechanism under the boot...It still feels round. Not like the two parts being bolted together.

re using the stock handle.
if you plan on re using the stock shifter knob then Hurst gives you a round shaft to attach the Hurst short throw so you can slip it right on.
But you can grab the boot and feel down the shaft and feel the bolts that attach them. if not then it s not a hurst set up. The hurst with the bushing upgrade is a very precise shift, no slack, no vibration and very short throws.
