You don't have to be a hardcore racer to come out and enjoy these events. This year the LSX Challenge has a category JUST for us 5th Gen Camaros, and these events are GM only, so there are TONS of vendors onsite to help you get the best mods for your style!

There's also a car show, for those of you who don't really care to race, but want to show off your mad detailing skills!

Just to clarify, here are some details on the Nitto 5th Gen Camaro drag racing rules: Index/Bracket Style Racing. All races are on a .500 Pro Tree and in an index format. All vehicles must pass NHRA safety inspection for ET and speed.

Index classes are out lined as follows:

AA/CAM 8.50
A/CAM 9.00
B/CAM 9.50
C/CAM 10.00
D/CAM 10.50
E/CAM 11.00
F/CAM 11.50
G/CAM 12.00
H/CAM 12.50
I/CAM 13.00
J/CAM 13.50
K/CAM 14.00

Im going, not sure the car is, is there a short version of the tech rules for et clases somewhere.

All vehicles must pass NHRA safety inspection for ET and speed. LOL. All you need are the stickers in the right place to pass tech.

Working in Cali this week and flying home tomorrow morn early. Picking up the wife, and driving down to bradenton from alabama. Woooooo !!!!

Running the 2012 stock 45th in Gen5 I/CAM 13.00 or
J/CAM 13.50 depending on how it does. Went 13.1 @ 1300DA so we will see.

Thanks man.. this really is a great family oriented series, and tons of fun without breaking the bank. We also ran true street since it was free and the cruise was awesome

I saw you out there...and you were damn consistent, which is most important in this type of racing.

I was supposed to be running, but unfortunately the car blew the motor on Thursday and is still down. It will be up and running by the Atlanta races, so I will see you there!!!

If you want some more runs before Atlanta, come on over to Pony Wars at SGMP on May 12. Really good times!!!!
