Splash Guards
Trying out some molded splash guards for our Camaros. You can get them in the colors of the cars or just in black. I opted for black since I have the inferno orange with black stripes. I will try and post some pics when I get them installed. Just worried about winter driving with increase in sand on the streets here in Colorado. Not that my Camaro will ever see snow...but they are slow to clear the streets of the sand when it melts and I LOVE to drive this car!
I think the brand was insignia? |

I have the Gm splash guards on my Camaro, they do a very good job of keeping things off the side of the car. I lived in Colorado for many years, I would want this on without a doubt, to keep the road salt off, and rocks frm hitting the side.

How hard are the GM splash guards to install? Interested because I remember all the chips on the side I got with my TC.

They were pretty easy, I took off the rear wheels, there is a star head screw in the wheel well I could not get to, my star driver was too long. I front ones I just turned the wheels to get to them. You will need a star head driver, a drill (the holes you drill are small and under the body, and wheel well). The directions are good that come with them, just follow them and you will have no worry's. If you plan on using a jack get a low profile one, this car sits low. I used a towel on the handle near the body, just to be safe .

Just so you know... or maybe already know... they dont come in all the car colors(not sure why), but I ordered some for my IBM and they do not come in that color.... Im having to have mine painted which sucks because they cost even more for me just because I have IBM! Couple other colors arent available either, not sure off the top of my head what they were, but check before you buy because they may end up costing more

I think they look fine, and they do make a MASSIVE difference on how much crap gets shot up the side of the car!
