Resonator Delete on Flowmaster Series

I’ve got a pair of Flowmaster 44 Super Series on my 2012 Camaro 2LS. No other mods just the mufflers-w the stock resonator and stock tips on there. Love the sound it’s given me over the past few months, But I need it to be louder. I was wondering if I removed the resonators would it have any sort of difference in terms of tone? Would it make it a little louder or quieter?

Well it would definitely make it louder haha. And probbaly much much more raspy seeing as it’s a v6.

Local muffler shops usually have a wide plethora of styles to choose from. And as stated, it will sound terrible/raspy/ricer ish. You've been warned.........

Yea man, I would listen to his warnings. Removing the resonators is going to give you a lot more than just volume. Many people have installed these on the LLT/LFX only to be sorely disappointed with the sound. Most of the time it will sound good, if not great at idle. But it's when you start getting into some rpms that it sounds very ricerish.

There are some good choices for great sound from the V6 or you could have a custom exhaust built. But, you have already had these on the car, and you like the way they sound already. So who am I to knock that.
Just be careful man and do some research and YouTubing. Messing with the exhaust on these cars is a rabbit hole...an expensive rabbit hole.
