Corsa Magnaflow or Flowmaster?
I think i have it narrowed down to these. Any opinions on which would sound best on the LS3?

I had a Magnaflow system on my Grand Am GT1... sounded great... i have a Borla system on my WRX and the power output is INSANE.. but minimal sound...
I'm going to see how it sounds off the bat, but if i do something I think I'm going to go with a Corsa chambered exhaust or a Magnaflow system. |

I vote Magnaflow from your list. I don't think it'll drone too much and it's stainless. I like the sound of Flowmasters but they're only aluminized and seem to be heavy on resonance, from the several that I've had. Corsa's good too, but $$$.
Good luck

It's all about personal preference in the end...I have Corsa on my Z28 and it's exactly what I was going for, but might not be what the next guy liked.

I had a 71 Caprice sport coupe with a 396 BB and I put 2.5" exhaust with Flowmaster mufflers on it and it sounded FANTASTIC!
At idle the grumble of the big block would resonate and surround the car with this deep, throbbing LUB LUB LUB. But give it some gas and the mufflers would take the volume out without losing the sound. I miss that car :( even though it weighed 4400 lbs and was a half mile long The best part of that car was it was a total sleeper. Mint green paint, factory hubcaps and a bored, cammed 396 with dual exhaust and about 375 HP. darn.. now I really miss it

I love the flowmaster I have, but it's on a V6. I know its not on your list but my neighbor has the SLP loudmouth on his firebird and I love it. If SLP gets back into the game I would seriously consider them.

Magnaflow. if you are going with a catback. its a toss up if you are just swapping mufflers. unless flowmaster changes something, their catbacks will sound and perform just as bad as they did on the 4th gen camaros.

I had a Flowmaster catback on my 4th gen Z28 and I loved the performance and sound of it....of course, keep in mind that sound is a personal preference. Mine held up great and definitely performed well.

I was advised leave the car stock for a few months. The advise is to give these companies some time with the new car to update what they have to offer. It seems like sound advise to me, but I have never purchased an aftermarket exhaust so I really have no idea!!!!!

Some searching on youtube would yield some good sound results. From my own experiance, and from what i've seen and heard, i would and will go with Magnflow. Nice, beautiful sound, not droning at highway speed, lovely little rumble at idle. And this is just off my 91 Caprice Classic with a 3" single exhaust and Magnaflow Ultraflow II!
