Does Your Wife Or Girlfriend Like Your Camaro?
My wife loves to be seen in my 2016 2LT RS V6 hyper blue Camaro. She feels like a rock star in it. We go cruising ALL of the time. It's the looks that people give us when we're driving it, that is just well in one word AWESOME! I can't really explain it. She loves the Camaro. I got her a Camaro coffee mug and Camaro jacket for xmas. She has friends that have owned previous gen Camaros. But nothing like this 6th gen. She likes to show her friends at the gym my car and they are in a trance when they see this badazz looking sinister beast pull up.
It's worth saying again, Best car I have ever owned!

But thanks to my wife I'll switch for a better one! She likes the car, and so do I. She said to me :" your 50th is nice, but as a sport car it has to be seen..." And she pressed me for a red ZL1, What I hesitated, just a second :-) Now I'm in the ZL1 process waiting for the status to rise.... And when reached 2000-3000 I'll sell my 50th |

My girlfriend is pretty indifferent towards my Camaro. She likes that I am happy with it but that is as far as it goes.

My gf is not a "car person" she doesnt fall in love with cars like us "car guys" do lol. This was the only car she showed some interest when she saw it in person and after the test drive.

Wife loves mine! She wishes I had kept the RJT 2011 2SSRS that was cammed, MyLink, and was a show car but she likes the SixGen too. She's declined to drive it and likes for me to show it to all who visit, she'll do car shows and cruises if her schedule permits but she's not a car woman by any stretch but she knows my passion and knows to stay married, don't talk bad about my car or what do or spend on it since she wants for nothing!

This IS my wife's 2016 2SS Vert.. I'm an old fart and we had a 70 !/2 when new for 15 years.. I talked her "down" from a beautiful Jag Vert that she has loved for 13 years... High fives all the time.. She switched to "awesome" from "class"
Big grin when it starts up........ Both of us.

Not only she likes car, but also she has a great drive...
She asked for PDR, in order to beat me on a track! We'll see.... But if she's right, I won't tell :-) |

"Our" 2017 2SS is my wife's daily driver.
I had a '69 SS when we got married back in 1974. Then we moved to a new 1975 Type LT. After that family and other priorities took over. But when they released the 5th gen we knew we had to have another one. Since I had a Corvette and a Harley, she said "Its my turn". LOL We bought a new 2011 2SS/RS Convertible. She was at the dealer getting routine maintenance done when she spotted the new 2017 SS on the showroom floor. So after almost 5 years with the 5th Gen we made the trade. This new 6th gen is just awesome. I have a Silverado for my daily driver, so she gets to drive this one most of the time too.

Oh ya, my girl friend is 66 years old and loves this thing. At 69 years old myself, I really have to contain my heavy foot. And she is not much help in that area because she is always telling me "PUNCH IT"

My girlfriend is a huge car snob, hates anything import, anything family oriented and most European cars... scratch that all of them. She has fallen in love with her Buick Regal with the 2.0 turbo and just trashes all cars that are not Buick including the new CT6 platinum...
Now that we have some flavour to her she absolutely loves my camaro. She has found it To have the best seats, seating position, stereo, exhaust noise and is exikerating to drive. I just wish it didn't ruin her love for her Buick because it saved me a lot in gas when she was driving everywhere... |

I bought a red RS Turbo 4 convertible last summer, the first Camaro that I've ever owned. My wife was originally dead set against it and it took quite a while to sway her before I purchased it.
However after spending a few weeks riding with the top down over the course of the summer, she said, out of the blue one day, that buying the convertible was one of the best decisions that I ever made and that it was such a fun car!! |
