Started mine today. Just have the radio and steering wheel to go and then out with the dash. Still no HUD trim yet though...

Question for the Install team

OK, I have all the trim, gauges, steering wheel, air bags, radio, etc off, all the dash screws out including the one way up by the windshield. I have the dash sides up and over the two pins on each side but it just doesn't seem like it wants to move back. All along the bottom is loose and I can see the AC duct up against the steel tube in the gauge opening.

Is there some trick to getting it to slide back? I really don't want to force it.

Don't forget to remove the A pillar covers off, or the dash pad will not come out.

Hey Don,you may want to check at the driver's side lower portion of the dash to see if it outer skin has released,if so you just have to pull up on the dash from the bottom of the driver's side and it should free itself.Good luck

I didn't remove the A pillars covers. Somehow missed that in all the threads. Will be doing that first thing in the morning. Thanks for the tip.
